Elizabeth”Team Rafael”
Liz trained with me for about a year and a half. She went from working out twice a week to 4-5 days consistently! She traded takeout for prepping her own meals and adopted a ton of healthy habits along the way. She dropped over 40lbs, completed a 10k AND watched every episode of Jane the Virgin after I bullied her into it. I'm so proud of her and everything she accomplished and like a true friend I'm writing this a month and a half after she abandoned me and moved back to Chicago . But honestly Liz, maybe if you'd been #teammichael I would've posted this sooner. Also since I have you here Chicago deep dish isn't pizza so let's just make sure that's clear. I feel like I've gotten s bit off track. I love you and I'm so incredibly proud of you. No crying.
Kelsey "Make Me Hot"
Kelsey never really worked out until we started training. And a few weeks later she was able to deadlift 50lbs. She's made an incredible amount of progress during the few months since we started training. She also has a ton more confidence in her ability to succeed in the gym and also now she has muscles!!! And it's awesome and she is awesome.
Stace "The Architect"
Stace has been with me since the beginning. He's worked his way back from a torn rotator cuff to be able to regain his form with pull-ups and bench pressing. He has truly become the strongest version of himself and I hope I can grow up to be as strong as he is.
Jay “More Chest”
Jay was the only client from the January 2019 resolutioners to stick with training for the entire year and into 2020. He’s done an incredible job cleaning up his diet and taking his training and his fitness goals as seriously as you need to in order to see results like the ones he’s achieved.
Ami "Ames"
Ami trained with me for around 9 months. During that time she learned to squat and dead-lift her body-weight. She also brought her gym frequency up from no days a week to 3! She kicked ass.
Franky "Big Sexy"
Franky was my first client and trained with me for 7 months. During that time he lost 50lbs, dropping from 232 to 186. At 23 this marked the first time in nearly a decade that he'd been under 200lbs. Insanely proud of this kid.
Shizu "Street Jazz"
Shizu has trained with me for over a year. When we met she mostly took dance classes and did not do much resistance training. During our time together she has learned how to properly deadlift and squat. We have also worked to help her recover from an ankle injury she suffered during a dance class this year. I picked her up from the hospital after her surgery and after a few months off she has regained most of her strength and is working hard to be able to dance again in the future. She is also really camera shy so all I have is a picture of a goodie bag she gave me after she mentioned we'd done 100 sessions.
Zach "The A-Lister"
Zach trained with me for 8 months, from fall 2016 to spring 2017. He learned gained 10lbs of lean muscle, learned to do pull-ups, push-ups. He also gained a confidence in the gym that he never had before. Awesome kid who kicked some serious butt.
Molly "Miss Molls"
Molly has been a client of mine for over a year. Since that time she has lost 15lbs, completely changed her dietary habits, altered her body composition by replacing 11lbs of fat with 3lbs of lean muscle, learned to squat and deadlift her bodyweight and increase her frequency of exercise from 2 days a week to 5. She's awesome.
Mickey "The Kick Boss"
Mickey trained with me for about 10 months from 2016-2017. During that time he lost 20lbs, dropping from 185lb and accomplishing his goal of getting to the 165lb weight mark, learned to bench press and squat properly and was able to do his first ever pull-ups. Also now he can see his biceps, and that's pretty dope.
David " DJ Funbag Blowout"
David has seen some of the craziest results of anyone who trained with me. When we met he was 240lbs. He committed to weight training with me 3 days a week and came in 3 days on his own to do an hour or cardio (actually it was more like 3 hours, he ran like 15 miles on the treadmill each time). In 4 months he lost over 50lbs and won't shut up about how many compliments he gets about how hot and muscly he is now.
Eric "The Cheerleader"
Eric and I were really on the Syracuse University Cheer Team together and it's actually where we met. Go figure that 4 years later I'd be a personal trainer and he'd come to hire me as the person to hold him accountable with his fitness goals. During our training he was able to increase his squat to 495lbs and went on to win a Powerlifting competition in September 2017.
